How to Purchase Teacher Accounts with a Tax Exemption

Our payment provider, Paddle, does not immediately provide an option for tax exemption. If you are trying to purchase a teacher account online but are using a school credit card and need a tax exemption, you have two options available to you. Both of these will allow you to avoid sales tax: 

  1. Purchase the accounts via a PO.  The first step in this process would be to complete our quote request form.  If you need to purchase more than one teacher account, the form has a field at the bottom where you can provide details for each teacher account you wish to purchase.  
  2. Email assist@paddle.com and explain that you are seeking tax exemption.  Provide them with your tax exempt documentation.  Provide them with a list of the teachers (and their email addresses) who will be purchasing accounts and they can put these teachers on a tax-exempt list.  After they respond (usually within a day or 2 of receiving the certificate), you'll be able to purchase online.
