How Teachers Can Update Their Email Address (Teacher Plan)
This explanation is for individuals with a MathFactLab Teacher Plan account.
To update your teacher email address:
- Log in to your MathFactLab account and click on your name in the top right-hand corner.
- Choose 'Update Profile' from the drop-down menu.
- Enter a new email address in the 'Update Email' section.
- Click on the 'Get Secure Code' button.
If you are switching to a new email address with a different domain AND you have student data in your account, you will need to provide two confirmation codes: the one sent to your old email address and the one sent to your new one.
In all other cases, you will only need the verification code from your new email address.
The email with the verification code will look like this:
- Depending on your particular situation, you will either be prompted to enter the codes sent to both your old and new email accounts or just the code from your new email account. In either case, enter the code(s) and click on the 'Enter Code and Update Email' button to complete this change.
After submitting the code(s), you will receive a confirmation email that your account's email has been changed.
