Teacher's Guide - Exporting CSV Reports
This document is for educators using a MathFactLab Teacher Plan, not teachers who are part of a school or district account.
By clicking Export CSV under the Actions button on the Students tab teachers can download a .CSV file of the data about their students. This spreadsheet will include the students' class names and codes, usernames and passwords, fluency and "Whoopsies" settings and their current work level. If a teacher has used the 'Assign' button there will also be data about the work students did during those assigned sessions.
Teachers can download a CSV file for all their students for their separate classes. Teachers can also select students by their grade level and/or tags they have been assigned and export a CSV file for just that group. Currently you can not download a CSV file for individual students unless you isolate that student with a tag.
Instructions for filtering students by class, grade or tag can be found here.
All screenshots in this document and video depict fictional students.
To export a CSV report:
- Start on the Students tab.
- Click on either the Informative or Performance view.
If you do not wish the report to contain all your students use the filtering tools to locate the students you wish to include. Instructions for filtering students by class, grade or tag can be found here.
- Click on the Actions menu and choose 'Export CSV'. This will initiate the CVS file download.
After downloading the CSV file you will need to open it in your preferred spreadsheet app (Excel, Google Sheets, etc.).
