How are Level Lifter Percentages Calculated

When a student takes a Level Lifter, each section of it is given a percentage score. Meaning, if in Addition/Subtraction, the student will receive a score for the addition section and one for the subtraction section.)

Level Lifter scores can be seen on the individual view in Usage Stats or by clicking the student's current level on the Students tab.

Percentage scores are determined based on the following:

  • Responses that are accurate and fluent receive full credit.
  • Responses that are accurate but not fluent receive half credit.
  • Responses that are inaccurate receive no credit.

For example, if a Level Lifter has 20 problems, each problem is worth 5 percentage points. In this example,

  • Each accurate-and-fluent response earn 5 percentage points.
  • Each accurate-but-not-fluent response will earn 2.5 percentage points.
  • Each inaccurate response earns 0 percentage points.
  • A Level Lifter with 18 accurate-and-fluent responses, 1 accurate-but-not-fluent response, and 1 inaccurate response will be given a score of 92.5%
