Login Options for Students who are Part of a School/District Account

If you and your students are part of a school/district account, how your students log in depends on how they are rostered into the program. If you are unsure how your students have been rostered, please reach out to your school or district MathFactLab administrator.

  1. Students who are rostered through Clever, should log in either through their Clever portal or by clicking the Clever button on our login page: app.mathfactlab.com.
  2. Students who are rostered through ClassLink, should log in either through their ClassLink portal or by clicking the ClassLink button on our login page: app.mathfactlab.com.
  3. Students who are manually rostered, should click the Student tab on our login page: at app.mathfactlab.com. There are three login options for manually-rostered students:
    1. Google single sign-on.
      1. To see if your students can use Google SSO to log into MathFactLab, check to see if their usernames are email addresses. If they are not email addresses, this option is not available to them.
    2. QR code login cards.
      1. To use this option, you'll need to generate student login cards. This guide will show you how.
      2. Your students will need to give permission to the browser to access their device's camera.
      3. Students will click the Sign In with QR Code button.
      4. Students will hold their login card up to their device's camera.
    3. Login credentials (Username, password and class code)
      1. Each manually-rostered student has a username, password and class code.
      2. These can be found on their login cards. This guide will show you how to generate login cards.
      3. Students enter their login credentials into the respective fields at app.mathfactlab.com and hit the Login button at the bottom.
      4. Hint: If students allow the browser to save their login credentials and bookmark our login page, subsequent logins will be very quick.

Student login options are covered in our Introduction for Students starting at 1:25.

Login Options for Students whose Teacher has an Individual Teacher Account (For Students who are Not Part of a School/District Account)

  1. Students should access MathFactLab by going to app.mathfactlab.com and click the Students tab.
    1. It is helpful to have students bookmark this page.
  2. Your students have two options for logging in: QR codes and login credentials.
  3. Both options will require you to generate login cards and distribute them to your students. This guide will show you how.

Logging in with QR Codes

  1. Students click the 'Sign In with QR Code' button on our login page, app.mathfactlab.com.
  2. The first time they do this, the browser will ask for permission to access the camera. This will need to be granted for the student to log in with a QR code.
  3. Students should hold up their login card to the camera on their device. Once the device scans the QR code, the student will be logged in.

Logging in with Login Credentials

  1. Your students will each have a username, password and a class code. These are listed on their login cards.
  2. To begin the login process, students select the Students tab on our login page: app.mathfactlab.com.
  3. Students should enter their username, password and class code into the corresponding fields, ensuring accuracy.
  4. Encouraging students to bookmark the login page and to give permission to the browser to save their login credentials makes future logins quite simple.

Student login options are covered in our Introduction for Students from 1:25 to 2:04.
