How to Generate Login Cards

Login cards provide students with the information they need to log into MathFactLab. For school, district, individual teacher and family accounts, our login cards provide login credentials (username, password and class code) along with QR login codes. Students using Google single sign-on may also get login cards they can use if, for any reason, they are unable to login via their Google account.

Our How Students Log In document and video, explain how students can use these cards to log into their MathFactLab accounts.

Students in schools rostered via ClassLink or Clever generally should log in through their ClassLink or Clever portals, not with our login cards. That said, our login cards do work for Clever and ClassLink students via QR codes. These login cards are available in case students will be logging into MathFactLab at times when they may not have access to their ClassLink or Clever portals, such as when they are at home.

How Those with Individual Teacher Account Generate Login Cards

  1. Begin by selecting the Students tab.
  2. Creating login cards can be carried out using either the Students Informative or Performance tab.

If you create the login cards for all your students they will not be organized by class. Running one class at a time will make card distribution easier.

  1. Decide which class you would like to generate login cards for and from the class selector dropdown in the top center, choose your desired class.  Select 'All Classes' if you would like login cards for all of your classes generated at once.

  1. Click the 'Actions' dropdown in the top right.
  2. Select 'Generate Login Cards'.

A PDF file with login details for your selected class will be generated.  By selecting the Destination dropdown, you can choose to either print the cards or save them as a PDF.

Most printers will have the option to create smaller cards by choosing to have multiple sheets on a single page.

How Parents with Family Accounts Generate Login Cards

How Those Who Are Part of a School/District Account Generate Login Cards

Administrators or teachers can create the login cards.

Schools using Clever or ClassLink will follow the same directions.

  1. Begin by selecting the Students tab.
  2. Creating login cards can be carried out using either the Students Informative or Performance tab.

We recommend printing login cards one class at a time, as they'll be easier to distribute if they are sorted by class, but that is your choice. This can be done using the filtering tools. This document and video explain how to use our filtering tools.

  1. Click on the 'Filter' button to select the class of students you would like to print login cards for.

Note: Our system can generate no more than 300 login cards at a time. If you have more than 300 students on your roster, you will need to at least filter down to less than 300.

  1. Select a class.
  2. Click on the 'Apply Filter' button.

  1. Click the 'Actions' dropdown menu.
  2. Select 'Generate Login Cards'.

A PDF file with login details for the students in your selected class will be generated.  By selecting the destination dropdown, you can choose to either print the cards or save them as a PDF.

Most printers will have the option to create smaller cards by choosing to have multiple sheets on a single page.
