Deleting One or More Students (Manually Rostered School/District Plans)
This document is for administrators of manually rostered accounts. It does not apply to accounts integrated with ClassLink or Clever.
Only administrators can delete students.
- When a student is deleted, all of their data is permanently erased. This action cannot be undone. However, you can add the student back to your MathFactLab account at any time, though their past data will not be restored.
- In some cases, you may wish to consider archiving a student instead of deleting them. See this article for more information about archiving.
- If you want to keep a record of students before deleting them, run and save student reports first.
Deleting a Single Student:
- Click on the Students tab.
- Choose the Informative tab at the top of the screen.
- Locate the student you want to delete. You can search for the student by name using the search box or use the Filter tool to narrow down the list of students by school, grade, class, or tag.
Click on the red trash can icon for the chosen student's row.

In the pop-up window, confirm that you want to delete this student.

Deleting Multiple Students

- Use the Search tool and/or the Filter tool to locate the students you wish to delete.
- Click in the checkboxes for each of the students you wish to delete.
