Is Partial Completion Saved?

If a student logs off having partially completed an activity or assessment, is their progress saved?

Sessions

If a student begins a session but logs out before finishing, they can pick up where they left off as long as they sign back in on the same day. If they return the next day, the activity won’t be saved, and they’ll have to start over.

This is the pop up message students will see when they log back into MathFactLab on the same day they logged out during a session.

Placement Tests

Progress is automatically saved during the MathFactLab placement test. If a student logs out before finishing, when they return to MathFactLab, they will see the message ‘Welcome back. It’s time to finish the session you began earlier today.’ They will then be taken back to the exact point where they left off.

Level Lifters

Saving progress on Level Lifters is still under development and requires additional testing. We will alert our schools when this feature is available. When complete, students will be able to resume a Level Lifter once, but will not be able to continue the Level Lifter if they log out of it a second time.

Activities

We are also working to save progress on partially completed activities. This should be ready before the end of 2025.
