Changing the Length of Sessions

Students are automatically logged off MathFactLab at the end of their session. Session lengths can be set by you from five minutes up to twenty minutes.

Somedays you may want a longer session of MathFactLab; others you might want a shorter one.  Luckily, it's easy to change the number of minutes of student sessions.  

Changing the Session Length for Multiple Students

To change the session length for multiple students, first, select the Students tab:

Next, make sure you have selected the correct class.  If you wish to make changes to all students, select 'All Classes'.

If you would prefer to select only some of the students, just check the box to the left of their names.  

When you click the Group Edit button, you'll see the below popup:

From there, just select the number of minutes you would like the session to be and hit 'Save'.  

Changing the Session Length for Individual Students

You can also change the session length for individual students.  To do this, click the edit icon on a student's line: 

You'll then see the Edit Student popup.  On the bottom left, you'll see 'Session Time Limit'.  From the dropdown, select the number of minutes you would like that student's session to be.
