Editing Student Settings for a Group
It is possible to make setting changes at once for all students or a selection of students. This, of course, is much quicker than making changes individually.
You will find this feature particularly helpful, for example, if you want to change the length of a session or if you want to switch your class to a new learning mode.
First, select the Students tab:
You will be able to make group edits in either Informative or Performance mode.
Next, make sure you have selected the correct class. If you wish to make changes to all students, select 'All Classes'.
If you want to make changes to all of the students listed, select the checkbox in the top left in the header.
If you wish to unselect students, you can do so.
If you would prefer to select only some of the students, just check the box to the left of their names.
With either of the above methods, you will see that the Group Edit button in the top right turns green. Click this.
The Group Edit function allows you to adjust any of the following settings of the selected students:
- Learning mode
- Fluency rate
- Passing Percentage
- Session Length
- Class Assignment (not available for those rostered via Clever or ClassLink)
- Grade Level Assignment (not available for those rostered via Clever or ClassLink)
- Student Language
- Reassessments
- Show/Hide Activities
- Challenge-Stage Level Lifters (Turn on/off)
- Points display during practice activities (Turn on/off)
- Tag(s)
