Editing Student Settings for a Group

It is possible to make setting changes at once for all students or a selection of students.  This, of course, is much quicker than making changes individually.

You will find this feature particularly helpful, for example, if you want to change the length of a session or if you want to switch your class to a new learning mode.

The Group Edit function allows you to adjust any of the following settings of the selected students:

  • Learning mode
  • Fluency rate
  • Passing Percentage
  • Session Length
  • Class Assignment (not available for those rostered via Clever or ClassLink)
  • Grade Level Assignment (not available for those rostered via Clever or ClassLink)
  • Student Language
  • Reassessments
  • Show/Hide Activities
  • Challenge-Stage Level Lifters (Turn on/off)
  • Points display during practice activities (Turn on/off)
  • Tag(s)

If you wish to make changes to other student settings, you will need to do that individually.  Learn more about this in Editing Individual Student Settings

This is the Group Edit menu.

To edit the settings for a group of students:

  1. Select the Students tab. You will be able to make group edits in either Informative or Performance mode.
  2. Use the Filter tool if you would like to make the changes to one specific class or grade level.
  3. Select the students you would like to change. If you want to make changes to all of the students listed, select the checkbox in the Name column header.
  4. Click on the Group Edit button.

5. For any changes you have selected, you need to click on the save button to have them take effect.
