Editing Student Settings for a Group
Updated for 2026-27
Starting with the 2026-27 School Year, the Group Edit drawer now has four tabs to simplify the setting editing process. Below are the setting options for each of these tabs.
You can change settings for a selected group of students all at the same time.
This feature is especially helpful when you want to change the length of students’ MathFactLab sessions or switch a class to a different learning mode.
Some settings can only be changed one student at a time. Learn more about this option in this Editing Individual Student Settings article.
To edit the settings for a Group of Students:
- Select the Students tab. You will be able to make group edits in either Informative or Performance mode.
- Use the Filter tool if you would like to make the changes to one specific class or grade level.
- Select the students you would like to change. If you want to make changes to all of the students listed, select the checkbox in the Name column header.
-
Click on the Group Edit button.

For any changes you have selected, you need to click on the Save button to have them take effect.

Below are the setting options for each of the tabs in the Group Edit drawer.
The Profile Tab settings will be somewhat different for Manually Rostered accounts than for Clever and ClassLink accounts. All other setting options are identical.
The Save button must be clicked for any change to take effect.
