Reassessments: Reassigning Placement Tests

There could be multiple reasons why you may feel a student's placement within the program is inaccurate:

  • The student has not worked on MathFactLab for a while.
  • The student, for one reason or another, was not able to his/her best on the placement test.
  • The student has received a significant amount of math fact instruction recently.

In any case, if you feel you have a student or students who are not accurately placed within the program, you have two options:

  • Manually change their level to the one you consider most appropriate.
    • This can be done by clicking on the edit icon on the student's line.
  • Reassess the student.
    • This will give the student the placement test again as if they were a new student.

How to Reassess a Student

To reassess a student, just do the following:

  1. Click the 3-dots action button on the line of the student who you wish to reassess.
  2. Select 'Reassess' from the bottom of the list of options.

  1. Confirm your decision.

After this, the next time the student logs in, they will be given the placement test, and They will be placed within the program based on their results.
