Deleting One or More Classes (Manually Rostered School/District Plans)

This document is for administrators of manually rostered school or district accounts, not those that are integrated with ClassLink or Clever.

Only account administrators can delete classes.

Classes may be deleted individually or as a group.

  • Deleting a class will archive all students in that class and remove them from any Checkmark Challenge games they are currently enrolled in.
  • Archived students are automatically and permanently deleted after 120 days. Once this occurs, all student data for that class is permanently erased and cannot be recovered.
  • Deleting a class cannot be undone.
  • Deleted student data cannot be recovered.
  • If you want to keep records of student progress, be sure to run and save any needed student reports before deleting the class.

You may add the class back to your account at any time. If this is done within 120 days of deletion, the archived students can be restored. After 120 days, archived student data is permanently lost.
