Deleting a School (Manually Rostered School/District Plans)

This document is for administrators of manually rostered accounts. It does not apply to accounts integrated with ClassLink or Clever.

Only account super-administrators can delete schools. Sub-administrators and teachers do not have permission to do so.

Schools can only be deleted one at a time.

Before deleting a school, you may wish to run and save student reports to preserve information about the students in that school.

  • Deleting a school permanently erases all student data for every student in that school.
  • Deleted student data cannot be recovered.
  • The process of deleting a school cannot be undone.
  • A school can be added back to your account later by following these steps, but past student data will not be restored.
  1. Click on the Schools tab.
  2. Click on the trash can icon in the row of the school you wish to delete and confirm this deletion in the pop-up window.
