Family Plan Step 3: How Your Child Logs into MathFactLab

Before your child logs into MathFactLab for the first time, you and they should watch both the Introductory videos found here. These videos will explain the benefits of improving their math fact fluency and prepare your child to use the program.

MathFactLab is compatible with all PCs and tablets but will not operate correctly on smartphones.

Your child can log in to MathFactLab using their login credentials. The login credentials include their username, password, and class code.

To locate these three items:

  1. Start on the Students tab of the parent's account.
  2. Move to the Informative side.
  3. Record the child's Username, Password, and Class Code. The password will be revealed when you click on the asterisks hiding it.

Login Cards - The alternative method for getting access to these credentials is to create a login card. Here are the instructions for that process.

To complete the process of logging your child into MathFactLab:

  1. Navigate to the MathFactLab Log In Page (app.mathfactlab.com). It is helpful to bookmark this page.
  2. Click on the Students tab.
  3. Enter the child's Username, Password, and Class Code. Allowing the browser to save the login credentials makes future logins quite simple.
  4. Click on the Login button.

QR Code Alternative - An alternative method for logging into your child's MathFactLab account is to use the QR code found on the child's Login Card.

This method requires the student to use a device with a camera.

To log in using a QR Code:

  1. Students go to our login page: app.mathfactlab.com.
  2. Move to the Students Tab.
  3. Students click the Sign In with QR Code button on our login page.

The first time your child does this, the browser will ask for permission to access the camera. This will need to be granted for the student to log in with a QR code. Ask your child to select 'Allow while visiting the site.'

Students should hold up their login card to the camera on their device. Once the device scans the QR code, the student will be logged in.

Additional notes:

  • Within Family accounts, sign-in with Google is only available to parents, not children/students.
  • Sign-in with ClassLink and Clever are features available only to students within a School/District account.
