Family Plan Step 5: Editing Your Child's Settings
In Family accounts, you can view and adjust the following settings for your child. Use the supplied links to learn more about these settings.
- Name
- Username
- Password
- Student Learning Mode - Addition/Subtraction or Multiplication/Division
- Required Fluency Rate - The number of seconds a child is allowed per response to be considered fluent
- Session Length - The number of minutes of practice your child has before being logged off
- Level Lifter Passing Percentage - The passing requirements of our Level Lifter assessments
- Show/Hide Basic +/- Activities and x/รท Activities - 4 of the addition and subtraction activities and 3 of the multiplication and division activities can be made available or hidden
- Program Language - English, French, or Spanish
- Set Level - If you wish, you may change the level your child will be working in.
- You can also control whether the Challenge-Stage Level Lifters, Points, and Hints will be visible for your child.
To make edits to your child's settings:
- Select the Children tab.
- You can edit a child's settings in either Informative or Performance modes.
- Click on the green pencil edit icon for the child you wish to adjust.

In the Edit Student menu, you will then be able to make changes to the items you see in the screenshot below. The one exception is the Class Assignment, which can not be changed.

If you make changes, remember to hit Save when done.
Group Edit - If you have multiple children in your account, you may use the Group Edit menu to change the settings for more than one child at a time.
To use the Group Edit tool:
- Begin on the Children tab.
- Use either the Informative or Performance side.
- Select the children you wish to edit.
- Click on the Group Edit button.

- Make any change that you wish to apply to all the chosen children. Make sure to click on the Save button.
